With over 25 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery, I understand that such a procedure is a life-changing event for you and your family. The Gold Coast Private Hospital team and myself will endeavour to make your journey safe and your recovery as quick as possible.

If you were referred as an outpatient, you will meet me at the Gold Coast Private Specialist Suites (ground floor at the Gold Coast Private Hospital). If you were referred as an inpatient, I will see you directly in the hospital.

There is plenty of online information regarding the various aspects of heart and lung surgery. This can be quite confusing. With that in mind, I have added some information below as a starting point on the subject.

My practice follows Australian and international guidelines such as the Australian Heart Foundation, the Australian and New Zealand Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons, the American Heart Association, the European Cardiac Society and the Fleischner Society. However, your specific condition must be discussed with me, as each patient has a unique medical profile.
